lafayette cemetery no. 1

Whenever I travel, I seem to find the cemeteries and this one was by far the best. It was thoroughly creepy and enthralling at the same time, which is truly the most you can hope for in a place filled with above ground graves. It was my mom's idea to visit Lafayette  Cemetery No. 1 (New Orleans is riddled with cemeteries). The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, now does it.

So so so good. This would be the first place I'd recommend for any visitors to New Orleans (at least from my highly limited opinion on the matter). A+

    1. I agree! I've been to his cemetery in Baltimore and though not quite as incredible as this one, I just loved it. This one here inspired Anne Rice :) So the shoe fits.
