It was a gloomy day in New Orleans when we ventured into the Garden District but I knew from the beginning that this was a place I wanted to go. My friend Alex goes to school at Tulane and absolutely loves this town so I had to check it out for myself. It surely did not disappoint. In fact, it reminded me very much of the King William District in San Antonio, which I was not expecting at all.
So gorgeous! I was in New Orleans recently for a road trip. I only visited the Bourbon Street area though, which I really loved. The architecture of New Orleans always takes my breath away.
Next time, get out to the Garden District for sure! Totally worth it. There's even a trolley out there from the French Quarter. I just love old things haha.
